Last weekend Mikey and I went to his sisters 21st birthday dinner at Regattas Bistro in town. It was a really lovely dinner, and they even were happy to make a seperate non-menu meal for me which contained no animal products. We had lots and lotssss of warm olives, and then I had gnocchi for the main.
The restaurant overlooks the Torrens River and we were plesantly suprised when towards the dinner fireworks started going off over the river - they were part of the Oz Asia Moon Lantern Festival.
After dinner we met with Mikey's cousin and his girlfriend for some drinks at the Belgiam Beer Bar, which has a lovely atmosphere and sells every type of beer you can imagine...raspberry beer...chocolate beer...too bad I was driving :(
